Meet Chef Roxann Valeriano Haynes

Hello! My name is Roxann Valeriano Haynes and I look forward to the opportunity to cook for you.
I grew up in Northern California at the foot of the majestic Mt. Shasta and was taught young how to use the best local ingredients to satisy my food obsession. This love affair with cooking and eating continued to grow as the years went by.
I have traveled extensively and had the privledge of meeting people from all part so of the world. From these encounters I was able to learn about their cooking methods and native dishes and have been able to incorporate these lessons into my own cooking.
In 2001 I became Co-Owner and Executive Chef of Il Primo in Santa Fe NM. After a few years I relocated to Minneapolis, MN where the original Kitchen Gnome was founded. Now I am lucky enough to live on the Southern Oregon Coast with access from fresh from the boat fish and amazing locally grown produce.
My first cookbook, Feeding the Body & Soul will be available through Amazon in early December 2014 and work on my second cookbook has already begun.
I am a certfied food handler as well as a proud member of American Personal and Private Chef Association.
