It all started years ago when I first heard "mangiare, tu sei troppo magra", which means "Eat, you're too skinny".  I heard that a lot growing up in an Italian neighborhood, not that I didn't eat; I ate ALL time.  But as much as I ate, I still stayed stick figured; however I did learn that feeding people was how you showed love and affection in this community.  A lesson that I carry with me today.  

 

And what better a way to carry on that lesson than to provide people with personalized meals, made with fresh local ingredients so they too can enjoy the comfort in a homecooked meal after a long day.
